Dear Student,
I ndia
has made considerable progress in the field of
science and technology since its independence.
Most noticeable benefits of technology are
reflected in agriculture, industry, and service
sector. However, a lot remains to be done to
include the underprivileged sections of the
society in the growth process. This marginalized
section is so large that it needs socio-economic
transformation to bring them out of the vicious
cycle of low quality education and poverty. As
you consider your choices in management
education I would like you to think with
